Pass me the Gelatos, love

Is it really August already?! Where has the year gone... This past Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of visiting the Craftwrok Cards factory and meeting the rest of the Design Team Members as this was our first get together. It was amazing and I am still buzzing with excitement from it all!  I finally got my hands on the Toile De Jouy Jet collection from Craftwork Cards and this is the first chance I've had to open it up and create something with it. Having seen quite a few cards made with lush golds and yellows I wanted to do something a little different for my first make.  So out came the Gelatos. Now, I've never used these before and they were great fun to work with. I coloured in the entire 8x8 sheet to begin with, which did take a little time, maybe 30 mins as I went over some of the images multiple times for a little depth in colour.  Having trimmed the 8 x 8 sheet down to 5.75 x 5.75 to form my card background then used the leftover 2+ inch strips to cut ou...

CWC - It's all a bit exclusive

Today I would like to share a few of my makes for the recent 'Boutique Floral' collection from Craftwork Cards. The collection is so beautiful and delicate and I absolutely love it. You can currently see it  here  and further inspiration can be found on Pinterest here .  It's been a hectic month and was nice to check out for a couple hours at a time and sit and craft. I don't know about you but when I come in from a long work day, making pretty things helps me to relax and unwind.  My first share is this really cute crate/gift box that is perfect to fill with chocolates or cookies as a little thank you or just because treat for someone. I've made up a few more of these since and everyone has loved them!   Next I created a 6x6 card and box, which is perfect for that girly birthday.   A 5 minute CAS card using the die cut flowers and double sided papers.
