Susan's Garden Club, Mixed Media Card + YouTube Video

Hi friends! The work to migrate content begins...
I recently had the pleasure to work with some of the dies from Tonic Studios - Susan's Garden Club. If you're not aware, Susan Tierney Cockburn designs the most amazing and realistic floral dies. Recently, she's collaborated with Tonic Studios to bring out some super sets!

The Project
With florals, I'm out of my comfort zone, but this is what papercrafting is about - learning new techniques, falling in love with materials and new ideas. The card I designed had the Ferns, Holly and the Columbine sets used to create a beautiful poinsettia card.

We were not involved with the launch of this new set but Susan has her own fabulous Design Team and they created the most gorgeous samples and projects. You can follow her on her own FB Page HERE, where lots of inspiration, photos and videos can be found.
I was super excited when my set arrived and some friends and I got together and decided it would be so much fun to have a mini blog hop!
I absolutely adore having these people in my life; we share the same love and enthusiasm for papercrafting and it's not often we're all able to coordinate projects at the same time. This is special for me on so many levels.
I really enjoyed making these flowers and added a touch of my mixed media style to the card using Cornflower Blue/Aloe Vera Nuvo Embellishment Mousse, white gesso and Moonstone Glacier Paste.
Another new product was the flower forming foam and stamen from CC, and it's brilliant! The dies are divine and although I haven't used the Columbine as it should be, it's still just as beautiful.
I had a few petals left over so made a tiny tag and gift box.
Isn't it cute?
The flower forming foam makes such delicate flowers, I love them and had a great time with Susan's Garden Dies and can't wait to see what beautiful things everyone makes!

Although the blog hop is over, you can still see all the other wonderful projects my friends designed by clicking on the links below.
