Hi there!

Hello and welcome to my little corner of creativity. Here, I find peace and joy in the art of papercrafting, where each project is a gentle journey into the beauty of handmade treasures. Whether you're here to learn, find inspiration, or simply enjoy the process, I hope this space brings you as much happiness as it does to me

Hi there and happy Monday. I’m super excited to blog with Bumbleberry’s every Monday from today and I'm starting off a little rebellious using wet and dry mediums on the same cardstock.

Materials
Altenew Spider Mums
Strathmore Bristol Smooth
Misti
Versafine/Memento Black Inks
Copics C1, C3, C5
Sakura Koi Brush Markers Pink, Yellow, Yellow Green, Sap Green
Kuretake Clean Color Green
Liquitex White, Black, Silver Ink
Foam Pads

Instructions

  • Cut Bristol Smooth 4 inches by 5.25 inches and stamp Spider Mum onto right side using Versifine Ink.
  • Color Floral with Sakura Koi Pens (Pink/Yellow & Yellow Green/Sap Green) plus Kuretake Clean Color Green. Allow to dry completely before moving on.
  • Once dry, color in the white space with C1, C3, and then C5. You don't want a perfectly smooth finish so don't worry about any streaking. You must allow the alcohol marker to dry completely.
  •  Once dry, stamp your sentiment, then ink splatter in white, black and silver. Pop onto foam pads and mount onto a standard size A2 card.

I love how the grey and splattered background gives the card an edgy feel.

If you'd like to purchase the Altenew Spider Mum Set it's great value for money and you can find it HERE: Altenew Spider Mums

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog today. I am thankful for the people in my life and although the world seems upside down at the moment, the joy of craft brings us all together.
