Hi everyone and welcome to another blog post tutorial. Today we are using the new Silhouette Bow Box Die Set – 4285e and it’s a stunner! This is a glorious addition to the Dimensions Range and perfect for treats, sweets and gifts and contains 26 dies.
Recipe
- Silhouette Bow Box Die Set 4285e
- Tangerine Die Cutting Machine
- Craft Perfect Classic Bright White
- Craft Perfect Classic Coral
- Craft Perfect Classic Cornflower Blue
- 240gsm Navy cardstock
- Tissue Tape
- Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive
- Tim Holtz Craft Pick
- Removeable tape
The Cube
1. Cut out two of the largest base dies.
2. Create a cross as shown and adhere the overlapped square. Die cut into a square as shown. You can cut 1,2,3 or 4 sides.
3. Die cut your inner window and the ‘you’ panel. Score as shown.
4. Attach the inner window to the inside panel, aligning the wording.
5. Glue the tabs together.
7. Attach the lid to the inside of the cube.
The Sleeve
1. Die cut 4 panels
2. Cut into one of the panels as shown.
3. Die cut the decorative panel into the remaining pieces.
4. Adhere to make a sleeve to go over your cube box.
The Bow
1. Die cut the pieces shown.
2. Attach the two longest pieces.
3. Adhere the tails onto the wrap.
4. Use a pencil or bone folder to curve your bow.
5. Adhere.
6. Adhere each side of your bow to the centre as shown then die cut the little squares and attach to the middle of the bow.
7. Slide over your cube and sleeve.
