Card 1: Monster Hugs
- Add Sparkle Sprays to white Chalk Mousse to create AMAZING texture pastes. I've used Frosted Lemon, Apple Spritzer, and Marine Mist. Spread your pastes onto a piece of watercolor cardstock. Allow to dry completely.
- Die cut the circle panel twice into a piece of cardstock to create and amazing bubble stencil.
- Use your stencil to create bubbles onto your panel with white Chalk Mousse.
- Splatter black and white ink, plus a little sparkle spray onto your stencilled panel for added texture.
- Trim panel to 3.75 inches squared and go around the edges with Nuvo Black Shadow ink.
- Stamp out 5 monsters and the cake and color in with Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens. Die cut your images and set aside.
- White heat emboss your sentiments and trim to size.
- Assemble everything onto a 4 inch square notelet.
Although this card is only a 4-inch square, it's packed full of texture and detail!
- Trim watercolor panel to 5 inches by 3.75 and create a bright wash with Nuvo Shimmer Powders, Cherry Bomb, Solar Flare. Blue Blitz, Lilac Waterfall. Add white ink splatter once dry.
- Die cut the bubble panel and use the waste to add to your washed panel.
- Stamp out the grumpy little monster and color with Aqua Flow Pens and Shimmer Powders.
- Die cut hello and white heat emboss your sentiment, trim to size.
- Assemble onto an a2 card.
This card is all about the composition and that gorgeous little grumpy monster - he's my favorite piece of the entire set!
