Hi there!

Hello and welcome to my little corner of creativity. Here, I find peace and joy in the art of papercrafting, where each project is a gentle journey into the beauty of handmade treasures. Whether you're here to learn, find inspiration, or simply enjoy the process, I hope this space brings you as much happiness as it does to me

Hello everybody! Today I’m sharing an absolutely gorgeous, and very large stamp set by Gina K, called, ‘Autumn Chrysanthemum’. This is a huge floral, with three leaves and truly beautiful sentiments. As soon as I saw it, I had to buy it.

Thank you for using my affiliate links to shop, your support is greatly valued, and I shall endeavour to share as many inspirational posts as possible.

You can purchase the stamp and coordinating die sets from Bumbleberry's if you're in the UK, below.

Instructions

  1. Stamp out the floral image and three leaves with watercolor friendly ink and watercolor paper.
  2. Watercolor with Chromatek Brush Markers.
    1. Leaves - Yellow Green, Grass Green, Emerald Green.
    2. Chrysanthemum - Vermillion, Orange, and Lemon yellow.
  3. Once dry, die cut your colored images. Splatter white and black acrylic ink on your die cut pieces and set aside to dry.
  4. Stamp out ‘be still my soul’ with black ink onto Dove White card, and trim to size.
  5. Die cut two hexagon shapes with Dove White card. I've used Tonic Studios Hopes in Hexagon dies but any will do.
  6. Mount your images onto the smaller of the hexagons with foam pads, then attach to your hexagonal card base.
  7. Attach your sentiment off centre, and add gold embellishments.
Isn't this a stunning stamp set?

The sentiments are particularly meaningful in this set and made me feel incredibly happy and sad at the same time. When I create anything handmade, there's always a purpose. I can't shell out card after card after card, it's just not my style (but I have great respect for people who can).

BE STILL MY SOUL...what an incredibly evocative phrase. I can't think of anything more beautiful to tell someone at the moment, so for anyone who needs a little love today, this is for you.

The hexagon shaped card base is also a point of interest and I love it with
this huge floral, it's perfect for it!
Thank you for visiting me today. I am hoping to start up my videos again in the new Year after quite a break away from it, so that's something for me to look forward to. See you soon! ~ Jen
