Wood You Lake To Go Camping A2 Aperture Card

  • Die cut an oval into a piece of smooth card, 5.25 inches by 4 inches. If you don’t have an oval, you could use a square or circle.
  • Die cut the mountain into grey card.
  • Die cut the water into white and blue card.

  • Trim a panel 5.25 inches by 4 inches and ink the top half using a blending brush and Sunrise Yellow ink.

  • Do a quick mock-up with the dies you’ve already cut out but don’t adhere. I like to do this to ensure my composition/colors are perfect.
  • Die cut the two largest trees twice each in Pistachio, Olive, and Avocado.

  • Die cut the canoe in Navy and the Oar in Kraft.
  • Die cut the mountain peaks in smooth white card and then cover with Glitter Accents.
  • Adhere the mountain peaks onto the grey mountains. Using Foam pads, place your mountain die cut onto your yellow card panel.
  • Build your scene by gluing your trees to each side of the mountain, add the water and canoe.
  • Place the oval panel onto foam pads and adhere over the scene. Adhere the oar die cut onto your card.

  • Trim a piece of Kraft card 5.5 inches by 4.25 inches, then place your scene on top of it.
  • Adhere the above onto an A2 card blank.
  • Stamp out the sentiment onto smooth white card, and trim.
  • Use foam pads to adhere onto your finished card, directly under the oval scene, adding a few clear sequins to complete this modern, graphic card.

Today was all about the the dies in this month's Stamp Club, but rest assured, the stamps are just as cute and I'll be back in a few days to share a lovely scene building stamped card. I'm currently a little behind with my crafting but hopeful I'll be back to resume as normal by February. Until then, I'm doing my best and will post as much as I am able to.

Happy New Year and I wish you all a positive, healthy and creative 2022.

Lots of love,
Jen (kittenmoose)
