Hi there!

Hello and welcome to my little corner of creativity. Here, I find peace and joy in the art of papercrafting, where each project is a gentle journey into the beauty of handmade treasures. Whether you're here to learn, find inspiration, or simply enjoy the process, I hope this space brings you as much happiness as it does to me
Hi friends and thanks for joining me on Saturday! Today I'm sharing something a little different in design, but a whole lot of fun!
*Thank you for using my affiliate links to shop, your support means so much to me, and I shall endeavour to share as many inspirational posts as possible.

Papercrafting is so much more than just coloring pretty flowers, or making ink-blended backgrounds. For me, it's an expression of who I am, what I'm feeling, or a simple release from the stresses of everyday life. It's also a place where I can be free to try new things, make mistakes, and grow. Most importantly, it's somewhere I can have FUN in a creative, free way.

Speaking of fun, I've been using this hiss-terical stamp set called, "Art Meowseum", which is a collection of meowsterpieces, including such famous feline works as Cat with a Pearl Earring, the Meowna Lisa, Americat Gothic, Vitruvian Cat, and meow-ny more.

Project One - Frida on Canvas
Materials:
I'm a big fan of Frida Kahlo, she was a true inspiration. I love her and her work!
Instructions
  • To start, stamp out the easel onto alcohol friendly paper, and color in the wooden parts with alcohol markers.
  • Next, take a ruler, and make some horizontal lines across the canvas, with a permanent fineliner. Next, use alcohol markers to color in-between the lines, but this does not have to be perfect. Once dry, use a white gel pen to make some crosses onto the canvas.
  • Use white and black liquid ink to splatter your canvas and set aside.
  • Whilst the easel is drying, stamp out the Frida cat and color in with alcohol markers. Use a white gel pen for highlights and then die cut.
  • Stamp out a sentiment from Creative Quotes set, and trim to size.
  • Trim a piece of buff card 5.25" x 4 inches and mount onto an A2 card base.
  • Attach your Frida die cut to the easel with foam pads, then add your panel to the card base.
  • Attach the sentiment with foam pads to complete the look of the card.
Isn't this fun and different?!
Project Two - Abstract Expressionism
This month's launch isn't going to please everyone, but personally, I absolutely love it!
Materials:
Instructions
  • Trim 2 pieces of white watercolor card, one 6.25" x 3.25", and the other 6" x 3".
  • Using a drop or two of pink liquid watercolor, add water to a non-stick surface, and smooth your largest panel.
  • Stamp out the pattern onto watercolor card, and randomly paint with Dandelion, Leaf, Dark Teal, Pink, and Orange.
  • Use the Looking Glass Square Frame to cut 4 small patterns out of the large print you just watercolored.
  • Splatter with liquid watercolors, black, white, pink, and dark teal.
  • Die cut 2 more square frames, but in black this time.
  • Stamp out one of the Creative Quotes, and trim.
  • Assemble the card onto a mini slimline card base, 6.25" x 3.25"
There is so much you can do with these stamps and dies, and I just adore them all! Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I'll be sharing some really fun inspiration in an IG Hop on the 22nd, so stay tuned!
Lots of crafty hugs,
