My project
Slimline cards are, let's face it, pretty awesome! This DOML is exquisite and has a surprising amount of elements in the florals, which I LOVE!
Trim a piece of white card 8.5" x 7 inches, and scored at 3.5 to make a slimline card base. Trim a piece of light grey card 8.5" x 3.5", this is your panel.
Die cut the large kaleidoscope slimline die in white card, and glue to your grey card panel.  Die cut the slimline die again in mint green, being very careful not to lose any of the pieces. Paper piece back into the design, all the leaves, as well as the teeny tiny dots in the swirls.

Next die cut your flowers, 4 medium in mid pink, 4 small in medium pink, 4 small in light pink, 4 small in white. Die cut the floral centres, 4 small light grey, 4 small white, and 4 large white. Die cut each of the large flower dies in different colors, Mid pink, light pink, white.

Ink a piece of card in Bundles Sage Distress Ink. I found this easier to do than color individual petals, it saved a lot of time. Die cut the small leaves multiple times, I think I cut out 8 times.
Glue your flowers together, and then add them to your card panel. Now, add all those beautifully inky leaves to all the flowers.

Add one of Bibi's Butterflies in light pink, white, and brushed steel mirror card, attach to your card with some wet glue. Splatter your finished panel with white, and silver liquid acrylic ink. Stamp out your sentiment, trim and attach. The sentiment I've used is from the March 2022 Card Kit of the Month. To finish, add silver embellishments.
Once you get to know me, you'll see I use two materials a lot in my cardmaking - liquid ink and tulle. Although there's no tulle today, it won't be long before you see it again.

I hope I've given you a little inspiration for this month's subscriptions, and although this is just one card, I do 4 kit memberships a month, so I'll be sharing a lot of inspiration in the coming days, and months. You can find me on Instagram here @kittenmoose, I'd love to connect with you, if we don't already.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog, and if you made it this far, I salute you! Take care, you beautiful, creative, wonderful, crafty people! Lots of crafty hugs, Jen

  10. Jen, I can't say enough about how gorgeous your slimline card turned out! I love every single element it has... from the multi-layered flowers to the splattering at the end! Your use of the light gray background panel is just perfect to give your pastel flowers the center stage! The addition of the butterfly is so "right"! Thank you for sharing your card, the details on how you created it, and especially your wonderful creative talent!!! -Donna
