Stamp Club, Picnic Party, March 2022, Tonic Studios

Hello friends, and welcome to my crafty space!
I'm delighted to be back with Tonic Studios to introduce, Picnic Party, the next great addition to the much-loved, Stamp Club range.
Some of you may know that I've been away for a couple of months due to my treatment for Aplastic Anemia - and although I still have a really tough road ahead, it's time to do what I love - which is finding a creative outlet for all the stresses and strains in life, A wonderful space where I am able to let go, and spend time with stamps, dies, stencils, pens, paints, and all things crafty.

I've had to give up a lot of things in my life, but I'm hoping this is temporary and I can find a way forward and kick this in the butt! There are good days, and there are bad days, but there are NEVER days I want to give up or give in. Staying positive is really important, and something I work on every day.

The Projects
I've created three projects for you this month, showcasing just a few ideas with the super cute set. I am particularly find of the picnic blanket, it's absolutely perfect!
Project 1 Time To Wine Down
What better place to start than with the wine?! This is a clean and simple card, perfect for just about anyone. You could easily swap the Rose for a deep red or crisp white.
  • Die cut the stitched outside panel twice, cutting the picnic blanket into one.
  • Splatter lemon, and rose sparkle spray onto the plain panel cover.
  • Die cut the wine bottle and two wine glasses, and watercolor with Pink Lemonade Aqua Flow Pen. Use a gold gel pen for the cork, and a white gel pen for some detail work.
  • Trim a piece of card, 5.25" x 4" and use the same Aqya Flow Pen to color the edges.
  • Stamp out the sentiment, and cut in half.
  • Build your layers up, onto an A2 card base. Add bottle, glasses, and sentiment onto the card front.
Project 2 Let's Do Lunch
How fun is this picnic blanket die!
  • Stamp out the lemonade jug, glass, apple, grapes, sandwich, and plate. Color them with alcohol markers of your choice and then add highlights, and bubbles with a white gel pen.
  • Die cut two stitched outside panel, and cut the picnic blanket detail into one. With the other panel, swipe two different shades of red alcohol markers, using the chisel side, across the whole of the panel.
  • Adhere the the detail panel over the top, and trim, as shown.
  • Stamp out, "let's do lunch" with black ink and trim.
  • Assemble your picnic items with foam pads to complete the card.
Project 3 Wine Not?
  • Die cut one stitched outside panel and ink blend until perfectly smooth.
  • Die cut the grass panel, and ink blend two greens, with a darker at the bottom.
  • Stamp out the picnic basket and its contents onto alcohol friendly paper, and color with alcohol markers. Add white highlights with a gel pen.
  • Stamp out, "wine not?" with black in and trim to size.
  • Assmeble the card using all the pieces you've colored, and die cut.
Thank you for joining me today, and I hope you've enjoyed my blog post.
See you soon, take care, and be safe.
