Small Die of the Month, Gift Border & Sentiments, April 2022, Spellbinders

A Gift for you, A6 Gift Card

• Die cut the sentiments in both black and gold. Adhere together to create a drop shadow. 
• Die cut x10 ribbons in black and the same again in gold. Adhere together to create a drop shadow.  
• Die cut the Large present die with plain paper as you'll be using it as a stencil. 
• Die cut the present again but this time in gold mirror card, using both border dies so it cuts out completely. 
• Trim a piece of smooth card 5.75" x 4" and cut the present die directly into it, right at the top, leaving enough room for the ribbons.
• Use the 'stencil' you created in step 3 to ink blend onto a piece of watercolor card. Distress Oxides used were: twisted citron, salvaged patina, shaded lilac, saltwater taffy, abandoned coral, ripe persimmon, and squeezed lemonade. Discard the stencil and you'll be left with an amazing ink blending. 
• Adhere the ink blended panel behind the other smooth panel you cut into. 
• Assemble the gold present die, and ribbons onto the front panel. 
• Add the 'A Gift for You' sentiment at the bottom of your panel. 
• Use 1-2mm foam pads to adhere your completed panel onto an A6 card base. 
• Add a gift card inside for an extra special treat!
