Today it's all about the new Amazing Paper Grace Die of The Month, called "Pop Up 3D Vignette, What's Bakin' Oven".
This month's vignette has tickled me so much, and you can see the set and further inspiration here
The Projects
Holy cow, I love this 3D set! I've made three different projects, just so show how completely awesome this set is, one pop-up vignette, one solid gift box, and a sweet little card.
Project One - 3D Pop Up Vignette
My first project concentrates on making up this set exactly as it's meant to be.
I've added a magnet to the lid so it stays closed a little easier. This adorable vignette folds flat and is absolutely gorgeous! You can see from the photo below that the vignette has those inserts on the side, which allows it to fold flat once the lid is lifted up.
Project Two - 3D Static Box
My second project has created a box with solid sides and a base, which can be used as a gift box.
Instead of adding the die to the sides which cut slits into it. I left them solid. The construction of the box uses the same sides and back, but die cut an extra lid and adhere that into the bottom of the box for a solid base.
At this point, I decided to make a trio of projects, all having a themed color palette of white, red, gold or silver, buff, and black.
Project Three - 2D Card
My last project has turned this 3D pop up vignette into a gorgeous little card.
Add fun polka dots with a white gel pen.
The overall quality and small details of projects are important to me, and you'll always find my cards finished off with details around the back, no workings showing, clean finish, and the inside tidy and ready for gifting. You can see the inner details in the photo above, even though this is a little card.
The width and height of the card is the same as the 3D boxes, and it looks just as cute! In all three, vellum was used to soften the look of the oven door.
Thank you for visiting me today and I hope that I've given you some inspiration to use with your sweet little 3D oven.
