Hi there!

Hello and welcome to my little corner of creativity. Here, I find peace and joy in the art of papercrafting, where each project is a gentle journey into the beauty of handmade treasures. Whether you're here to learn, find inspiration, or simply enjoy the process, I hope this space brings you as much happiness as it does to me
Hi friends! Today I'm sharing an amazing Kit from Hero Arts and I'm in love!
It really takes me back to when I was a child, and although I didn't appreciate it at the time, there is so much beauty in the desert.
I've used the MMH August Kit to create a gorgeous little project I'm sharing today.

I Miss You A2 Desert Gold
The kit comes with 4 Hero Hues Core Inks - Tangerine, Pine, Sand, and Caramel.
  • Use the four stencils to create your base image onto an A2 piece of cardstock that comes on the kit. You can use the inks provided or any inks you have. Today, I've used a mixture of the Core Inks provided, and Distress Oxide Inks.
  • Add a very light blue background using Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. I let the ink overlap my scene just a little.
  • Take another piece of card and stencil the cactus. Die cut.
  • Ink blend a small piece of scrap paper and stamp your sentiment using the Caramel Core Ink provided.
  • Trim your stencil panel to 4" x 5.25" and place it onto an A2 card base. You can use the white card in the kit, and score in half.
  • Use foam pads to attach the cactus and sentiment onto your card base. I love the simplicity of this card, and the kit itself. My friend lives in Arizona and I miss her so much, so this card was made with her in mind. I love you, Erin.

Thanks for stopping by today and I'll be back tomorrow with a fun collaboration Instagram hop with Heffy Doodle!
