Life is Incredible 5"x7" Card
To start, you need to make three frames (2 white and 1 light blue) from the 5"x7" stitched rectangles as shown and set them aside.
Die cut the sentiment (Iconic Beauty) in white, and blue. Die cut the outline in vellum.
Assemble all your layers using foam pads to create a sense of depth to the card.
This was a really fun card to make and also gave me a chance to practice a few marker techniques. Originally, I had colored the bear too dark but after giving it some thought, I went in with the colorless blender and stippled him until a lot of the darkness was removed. When I'd finished, he also looked like he had fur, so that was fun!
Every time I use my markers, I learn something new and it's incredibly satisfyinh! What do you think about his fur?
The finished card looks so sweet and I enjoyed getting to know the E-color family. Although my skills are basic, it's a pleasure to use such great stamps and markers!
Thanks for joining me today and I look forward to learning more with my Copics this year!
