Hi there!

Hello and welcome to my little corner of creativity. Here, I find peace and joy in the art of papercrafting, where each project is a gentle journey into the beauty of handmade treasures. Whether you're here to learn, find inspiration, or simply enjoy the process, I hope this space brings you as much happiness as it does to me

It's time for another shaker card! There's a lot going on with this card, but it's a beauty!

Picket Fence Studios have released three new Paper Glaze Luxes this month, and I'm in love! Pink is definitely the color of my heart, and this card couldn't be any sweeter.

A2 Hugs Enclosed Mixed Media Shaker Card

Stencil the Paper Glaze onto a piece of smooth watercolor card from dark to light. This creates a beautiful ombre effect as the colors coordinate perfectly.

Stamp out the Watercolor Roses and color with Copic Sketch markers R81, R83, and R85. Color the Leaves with YG01, and YG05. Die cut.

Die cut 'hugs' and 'enclosed'. One black and one white. Next, pounce the distress oxide inks onto the white die cuts using the pink Paper Pouncer. Adhere the back to the back of the pounced die cuts to create a shadow.

Trim down your stencil panel to A2 and use a circle die directly in the center of the panel. This will form your shaker.

Take a piece of A2 white card stock, and glue the small circle stencil piece in the exact spot the shaker circle is. Next, add your acetate, shaker tape, and sequins for the shaker element.

Glue the roses, and word dies to the front of the panel, and then adhere to an A2 card base.

Oh my goodness, isn't this beautiful! What a perfect card to send to someone who really needs a hug. Those shaker sequins are divine, really go well with the Luxes too!

I hope this has given you some inspiration with some of the new products out now from Picket Fence Studios.
Have a great Wednesday!

Sending crafty hugs,
Jen
