Hi there!

Hello and welcome to my little corner of creativity. Here, I find peace and joy in the art of papercrafting, where each project is a gentle journey into the beauty of handmade treasures. Whether you're here to learn, find inspiration, or simply enjoy the process, I hope this space brings you as much happiness as it does to me
Hi friends! I’ve had a break away from social media recently, to align my priorities, rest, spend time with family, and to really think about why I papercraft. The Projects
All three of my projects for the launch focus on the main Christmas Rose centerpiece. I like to craft organically and often one project will lead to other ideas and techniques. As I am unfamiliar with the Hellebore or more commonly known as the Christmas Rose, my inspiration came from real flowers this time.

Project 1- Happy Holidays
When I think of Christmas flowers, I think white and sure enough I found a beautiful traditional Hellebore. Isn't it beautiful!!

Whoops! If you look closely you can see a couple mistakes. I'm still learning with color pencils and feel it's super important to continue on, chances are, you can fix them!
I've used the border dies you get in the set and created this wonderful cardbase with it. It's smaller than A2 so will easily fit into an A2 envelope. I enjoyed coloring this card and it's another hour or so of pencil experience.

Project 2 - Merry Christmas
My next project shouts Christmas bling with gold glitter, and colored on navy card. Once again, I've used a photo for inspiration, which is here: The two-tone colors are breathtakingly beautiful.
Although I didn't capture the flowers transparency, coloring directly onto navy card really bring this floral to life.
Using a white/light pencil to start.
As this was a Christmas bling card, I've gold heat embossed that pine stamp multiple times then added some white splatter. After adding our yellow pencil to the image, we mat and layered onto glitter cardstock and a navy A2 card blank. You can see some of my detailed strokes below.
And the finished card is really beautiful!

Project Three - Sending peace, happiness and joy
My last project is a loose watercolor. I've also masked the image to elongate it onto a mini-slimline card. I've also used this photo as inspiration when selecting my color palette.
I love the dusty pink shades in the photo above and the turning of the leaves. My last card is a mini slimline watercolor. I masked off the stamp and elongated the design. It was then loosely watercolored with Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens.
The sentiments have been white heat embossed onto black card. I really enjoy creating a loose design and think it has such beauty.
And those are my cards for today, I hope you've enjoyed them. Next on the hop is the incredibly talented Erica AB!
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog. I cannot pick a favorite because I'm in love with the stamp set. I will be hopping right along with you as I'm excited to see what all the other amazing crafters have created. It's such a joy to be part of Stamp Club and I want to thank Maria for inviting me to join her hop. She is one of the kindest people I know and I'm grateful to have her in my life.
Lots of love, Jen Kray (kittenmoose)

  2. Oh my gosh, not only are the real Hellebores gorgeous, but your creations are amazing!!!! I love how you colored all of them. You are very talented. I have never been crazy about Hellebores, but now that I have seen these perfect specimens, I am in love. I don't think that they do well in my area, and that is why I haven't fallen in love with them before. They just don't do well, then die. I'm going to see if I can find a variety that will do well in my southern California garden. I hope that you love your cards as much as I do. They are soooooo pretty!
