Instructions
Today's project is a lovely little scene using the stamps and coordinating dies in the set.
  • Trim a piece of smooth watercolor card 5.25 inches by four inches. Start blending out the night sky using Distress Oxide Inks - Broken China, Chipped Sapphire.
  • Die cut the stars plate into your panel several times, and continue to blend out your sky, adding Wilted Violet and Black Soot. Once ink is dry, splatter white ink onto your panel.
  • Trim a piece of vellum 5.25 inches by 4 inches and color in with 401. Attach to the back of your inky panel with double sided tape.
  • Cut out some grassy hill shapes with scissors and ink up one using Antique Lined, Twisted Citron and Grass Green. Ink up the other with Twisted Citron and Grass Green, Set aside.
  • Stamp out three trees, bunny, squirrel, log, fire, guitar, and marshmallow on a stick.
  • Color in with Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens and allow to dry before die cutting.
  • White heat emboss the sentiment onto smooth black card and trim.
  • Assemble all the elements onto your night sky card panel using deluxe adhesive and foam pads.
  • Attach your completed panel onto an A2 card blank and then add the sentiment.
This was a really fun card to make and using Distress Oxides gives the best blended backgrounds ever. If you prefer to make watercolor backgrounds, I've also made this sweet little notelet using Aqua Flows for the night sky.
Thanks for joining me today, these cards were really fun to make and will give you a few stamping ideas using the set. If you'd like to see a modern card made just with some of the dies in the set, you can see it here:

Thank you for visiting me today and I'll be back next week with a few new fun lauches. Have a great weekend and happy crafting!
Lots of love,
